Terms & Conditions
About these terms
Clikt Pty Ltd (ABN 20 698 284 785), trading as Clikt, designs and manufactures collapsible event setups and custom brand activations in Melbourne. In these terms, "we", "us" and "our" mean Clikt, and "you" means the person or business placing an order or using this website.
Accessing this website or placing an order means you agree to these terms. We may update them from time to time, and the version published when you place your order is the version that applies to that order.
These terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia. Both parties submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Victoria.
Questions about these terms can go to hello@clikt.com.au.
Quotes and orders
Quotes are valid for 30 days unless we state otherwise, and are based on the specification you give us. If the specification changes, the price and lead time may change with it, and we will tell you before we proceed.
A contract forms when we confirm your order in writing, not when you submit it. Until then we may decline an order for any reason, including a pricing or stock error, or where we cannot service the delivery address.
All prices are in Australian dollars and include GST unless stated. Delivery is charged at checkout at the rate shown for your postcode. Installation and any special handling are quoted separately.
We take care with pricing, but if a price is obviously wrong we are not obliged to supply at that price. We will contact you, and you can confirm at the corrected price or cancel for a full refund.
Payment
Orders placed on this website, ready-to-dispatch and made-to-order alike, are paid in full at checkout.
Custom pieces we quote for require a deposit before production begins, with the balance payable before dispatch or collection. We will set out the split on your quote.
We do not begin production, and we do not release goods, until the relevant payment has cleared.
Cancellations and changes
Once payment has been processed, orders cannot be cancelled. Production is scheduled and materials are cut to your specification as soon as an order is confirmed, so a cancellation cannot be absorbed.
If you need to change a confirmed order, ask us as early as you can. We will do what we can, but changes after production has started may not be possible, and any change that adds cost or time will be quoted before we proceed.
Nothing here limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law, which are set out below.
We may cancel an order if we suspect fraudulent activity, if there has been a pricing or inventory error, or if we cannot supply. If we cancel, you receive a full refund of anything paid.
Custom builds and made-to-order pieces
Custom work runs off a written specification, and where relevant a drawing or render, which we ask you to approve before production. Your approval is what we build to. Changes requested after approval may attract additional cost and time.
If you supply artwork, logos or brand assets, you confirm you own them or have the right to use them, and you agree to cover us for any claim arising from our use of what you supplied.
Our pieces are made by hand from timber-based sheet materials. Small variations in colour, grain, edge finish and dimension are normal and are not defects. Screen colours and printed swatches are indicative, and the final shade is matched during production.
Custom pieces made to your specification are not returnable for change of mind.
Lead times
Lead times quoted are estimates given in good faith, running from the date your order is confirmed and any required approval is received.
We are not liable for loss caused by a delay outside our reasonable control, including supplier delays, freight delays, equipment failure, industrial action, extreme weather, fire, flood, or an act or direction of government. If a delay is likely to affect your event, we will tell you as soon as we know and work out the best option with you.
Delivery, collection, risk and title
Delivery timeframes and freight terms are set out on our Shipping & Returns page, which forms part of these terms.
Risk passes to you on delivery or collection. Title in the goods stays with us until we have been paid in full.
You are responsible for giving us accurate delivery details and clear access. Deliveries are contactless and to the kerb or ground floor unless we have quoted otherwise. If the carrier cannot access the address, or nobody is available where access is required, redelivery fees may apply.
If goods are ready and not collected or accepted within 14 days of us telling you they are ready, we may charge reasonable storage.
Returns and the Australian Consumer Law
Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure, and to compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if they are not of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
Made-to-order and custom pieces cannot be returned for change of mind, so please check dimensions and finishes before you commit. We are happy to answer any question before you order.
If something arrives faulty, damaged or not as described, contact us within 30 days of delivery with photos and a description, and we will assess it and put it right.
Warranties and liability
We warrant our workmanship for 12 months from delivery in normal use. The warranty does not cover fair wear and tear, damage from misuse, overloading, modification, poor storage, or use of a finish outside what it was designed for, such as leaving an unsealed raw finish out in the weather.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, and without limiting your rights under the Australian Consumer Law:
we exclude all guarantees, warranties and conditions that are not mandatory;
our liability for any claim is limited, at our option, to repairing, replacing or refunding the product;
we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including lost profit, lost opportunity, event disruption or reputational harm; and
our total liability for any order will not exceed the amount you paid for it.
If you contributed to the loss, for example through misuse or by supplying incorrect information, our liability is reduced accordingly.
Discount codes
We do not offer discount codes. From time to time we may run a specific promotion, and the conditions will be stated in full at the time.

We are committed to keeping your information private and secure, and we handle it in line with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles.
What we collect:
name, address and phone number;
email address;
delivery details;
payment details, which are processed by our payment providers rather than stored by us; and
site usage information through cookies and analytics.
If you do not provide certain details, we may not be able to complete your order.
How we use your information
We collect and use your information to:
process and deliver orders;
communicate about your order or a support question;
send marketing updates, if you have opted in;
meet our legal and tax obligations; and
prevent fraud and protect security.
We may disclose your information:
with your permission;
to service providers who need it to do their job, such as couriers, payment processors and our website platform;
when required by law; and
in the case of a company sale or transfer of assets.
We never sell your data.
Where your information is stored
This website runs on Shopify, and we use other service providers for email, analytics and payments. Some of these providers store or process data outside Australia, including in the United States, Canada and the European Union.
By providing your information you consent to that overseas disclosure. We take reasonable steps to use providers that handle personal information to a standard comparable to the Australian Privacy Principles.
How long we keep it
We keep personal information only as long as we need it for the purpose it was collected, or as long as the law requires. Records relating to a sale are kept for at least seven years to meet Australian tax and record keeping obligations. After that we delete or de-identify it.
Access, correction and complaints
You can ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it where we are not required to keep it. Email hello@clikt.com.au and we will respond within 30 days.

Communication and marketing
If you have placed an order or opted in, we may send updates about products, offers or events. Every marketing email carries an unsubscribe link, and you can also unsubscribe by contacting us. This is separate from order and service emails, which we need to send to fulfil your order.

We use cookies to improve your browsing experience, for example to remember your email next time you visit. You can disable cookies in your browser, though some parts of the site may stop working properly.
Site statistics
We may share aggregated, anonymous information about site usage for business analysis, such as time on site and most viewed pages, and never anything that identifies you.
Security
We take website and data security seriously, but no system is completely immune. Any data you transmit to us is at your own risk, and we will do our best to protect it once we receive it.
